Decision Time! I have to do these linework drawings for this Architecture History class.  Plan, 2 sections, etc, of a classical building.  I have Sforza Chapel, by Michelangelo.  We are basically just tracing existing drawings/photos, although my two sources have slightly differing sections, so I’ll be sort of interpreting between the two.  It’ll look like this:

Anyway, do I just start off on the vellum directly in pen?  Or do I do it entirely in pencil, and then do pen overtop?  That would take longer, but would be much safer, in terms of not making some mistake that screws everything up and I have to redo the whole drawing.  Can I summon the courage to commit to pen from the start??
