It turns out that independent of my decision to accept a co-op position at a firm in Chicago, my brother has been silently considering plans to move to Chicago from his home in the family basement to further pursue his non-career of non-professional poker playing. I took videos of all the bridges breaking, but they turned out poorly, and here’s why. Last year I went into the shop, forgetting that my camera was in my pocket. I was working with MDF that day, and the tiny tiny particles got all over my body, into my pockets, and into my camera. Some got within the lense mechanism, so now there are these spots whenever I take pics. It’s not...
So much happened today, it’ll be a few days before I write it all up. At which point it will likely no longer be relevant, so I’ll not write about it after all.

Coming up this weekend will be the first DAAP-ish party hosted by a house I currently live in. By “DAAP-ish” I suppose I really mean “themed”. And it seems that the prevelance of themed parties is somewhat exclusive to my class. NBC Cincinnati ad for coverage of tuesday’s democratic debate in Cleveland, calls the event “The Debate on the Lake” Reference to “mistake on the lake”? Should clevelanders be insulted? Or are they (we?) to the stage of laughing at past mishaps? Either way, is it responsible journalism to reference an idiomatic insult about a major city in an advertisement?
On the other hand, Bill Hader does an amazing and hilarious Daniel Day Lewis as Daniel Plainview.
Fred Armisen doesn’t do a very good Obama.
In keeping with the “tumblr” and “flickr” naming pattern, perhaps this should be called “fauct”. But that sounds a lot like “Faust”, which might not be what I’m going for… Is Satan still offering unlimited power for eternal soul deals? Or has he gone to the nighttime and weekend power only plan?
